Upcoming Exhibition – Wendy and Sally Carrall

Our new exhibition features a  talented mother-daughter duo, local to the Coolah district –  Wendy and Sally Carrall.  Sally paints with acrylics on canvas and uses a stick from the garden for her dots.  Wendy also uses acrylics and chooses some alternate surfaces as well as canvas – such as emu eggs.

They have embraced exploring their indigenous heritage and are proud of their Kamilaroi roots. Keeping the indigenous art style alive, they endeavour to share stories of their experiences through their art.

Have  a look through some of their beautiful work, it grabs the eye and wants to be admired!

The opening night will be on 5 August, come along and enjoy their art in person.

Exhibition – Kirstie McCauley

Pandora Gallery will be hosting a new exhibition in June and July by emerging artist, Kirstie McCauley.

Kirstie began her art journey only a few years ago from the point of believing she couldn’t even draw a stick figure.   In her first painting she decided one of the trees needed to be magenta pink … this sparked her love for colour and the realisation of the freedom that art could provide – there are no rules!   In a short space of time, Kirstie tried acrylic, watercolour, pastels, mixed media, collage and gouache as she continued to learn and test out her newly found skills.

Her exhibition at Pandora Gallery will showcase colourful original paintings, in a mostly smaller format, all framed and for sale at very reasonable prices.

The exhibition will be available to view throughout June and July.

The opening night will be on Friday 3 June at 6.30pm.  Refreshments will be served.   A gold coin donation would be appreciated.
